Can't Subscribe to SWTOR

german line is up and working , english line opens in about 3 hrs time though
I have the same problem.
I returned to SWTOR after an absence of about 6 years. Last May EA gave me issues with my Steam purchase of Dragon Age Inquisition (couldn't play that either), but I downloaded Swtor again from the swtor website, no Steam there. This is quite frustrating; making it so hard for ppl to pay EA money!;-) I am not allowed to send a ticket, not allowed to buy coins, not allowed to subscribe & the phone-number doesn't work either. I am not allowed to contact EA/Swtor unless I am a subscriber which I am unable to become!
Anyway, frustration-time is over;-)

Ty for your response! Problem is that I tried two times during office hours and both times the phone-line/connection died with the message: can't reach: is out of area.(Yes I was calling from home and yes I have called out of country before without an issue.)
Seeing that loads of ppl have mobile phones and calling to other countries isn't cheap it would have been nice if there would be an email account or a chat to use for contact as well. Alternative you know, most companies have them.;-)
I do love Swtor, as I did from the moment is released, but this is really poor customer service. Thinking of giving up and just staying preferred. EA obviously doesn't want my money...
there is an email : support@swtor.com , however if you email there only response will be to call them when the lines are open due to the issue on the account

I've had the same problem. It took me over an hour with customer service to figure it out. You need to have an EA account with the same email address as your swtor account. Since mine was over 11 years old they didn't synch. Apparently this was an 'addition' about 2 years ago (matching email). So check if your EA account and swtor account match. That might help immediately.

I've been having the same issue with my Katristan account since I'm unable to log into my LordZanesa account due to not remembering the information tied to the account. Unable to subscribe due to EA Account error.
LordZanesa is linked to my Steam and I dont have it installed VIA Steam atm.
Support can see you are good now with the Katristan account so that is good to hear
as to LordZanesa account i can say there is no steam account linked

Your swtor account has been disabled for purchasing, this is due to the linked EA account has had its data wiped due to long term inactivity
The linked EA account was created at the same time as the swtor account was created , and will likely use the email address used on account creation ( this is most likely the case unless you have changed the email on the EA account previously)
If you have access to the email address used to "create" the swtor account ( so in your case try using your swtor email address in the following link) , then use this link to reset the password on the linked EA account and then login on that account to get it restored.
Let me know if you think you have sorted the account and i can recheck the account
if you have no clue and cant get this sorted then you will need to call swtor support when the lines are open and they can update the details on the account for you
I've logged in and out of my SWTOR, EA and Origin accounts, including resetting the password for the EA account as suggested. It still doesn't seem to be letting me subscribe.

I also have problems subscribing, I tried through the swtor.com page and with a card it won't let me pay but with PayPal yes, even with those the payment never arrives and the subscription is never made
. This account (username = Kaytho) is only from swtor which is linked to my hotmail account.
My EA account is (Generlakayto) which is linked to gmail and I don't know how to link these accounts or at least let me subscribe. I dont want lose my progress in game
I have tried to call the support phone but it says that it is not working.
I do not know what to do .

just for clarity it is not the EA account your posting on now , did you try using your swtor email in the link provided ?

No , this account that I use here I do not have the swtor game , this is my EA account . I downloaded the swtor game from the official free to play page, and I wanted to pay now through the official page but it won't let me and when I look for technical support it sends me here

Support confirmed your email is in the queue for an agent , but it seems you have only sent one screenshot

support rechecked they only have the transaction screenshot , resend an email with the steam id attached to support@swtor.com

I checked my swtor account and it was linked to this e-mail.
I have reset passwords on both this email, and another, thinking I might have created to swtor account with that.
