can't subscribe

@proxos666 I also have the same issue as of right now. I just recently came back to the game after a long break. The message reads this: "There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support (https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-support) for further assistance." I already tried to do everything that I could (i.e. changed my EA account password with the same email as my SWTOR account and also did it in incognito). Is there anything I should do and try to resolve this issue? My display name is Sabertoothkitty

Your account has been sent to studio for fixing, they should email when it is fixed
to subscribe for now as a workaround, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

I have changed both my EA & SWTOR Passwords and it's not changed

to subscribe for now as a workaround, if you install the game via steam and login and play on a character to be sure the accounts are linked , you can then subscribe via steam whilst this gets sorted

Got the same problem, tried to subscribe but get an error message saying:
"There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account which will prevent SWTOR purchases until resolved. Please contact customer support"
Hope it can be resolved, thanks in advance.
Edit: Forgot to add my swtor username: s-y-z
ok it seems you had the linked EA account deactivated/merged/email swapped ? , that account had the persona syz and has an invalid email on it now
If you know the account , then need to open a ticket via help.ea.com and see if that origin/ea account can be reactivated , that is what will fix purchasing on the swtor account s-y-z

It appears that I have the same issue.
It's as if my EA and swtor accounts are not linked. I've tried changing the EA account password which had no effect on my swtor password or vice versa.
Could you take a look at it please?

Hi, I am unfortunately having the same issue when attempting to subscribe on the SWTOR website too.
My SWTOR User/display name is Davidmckeon.
I have tried clearing my browser caches etc., opening the websites in cognito mode and within a different browser but have had no luck.
Could you help me try and resolve this too?

Forgot to mention but I have also changed the passwords for both my SWTOR and EA account and ensured they have the same email address.
You will need to call swtor support when the lines open, they can assist resolving the account issue you have

Support cant see an email from you was that sent from the email on the swtor account ?
You also need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona vontoybie (not Toybie66 your posting on now) that EA account uses a mail email
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
let me know if you resend an email from the swtor email will check it arrives ok
