can't verify my account

My issue is I can't verify my account on Star wars the old republic. My character has reached level 20, and now that I've reached that level I'm told I need to verify my email account to continue to play that character. My problem is when I go to verify my account I get told by the system that there's an "Error" with verifying my account. It says it can't because the verification code expired, invalid, or account already verified. Now I'm stuck with this problem with needing to verify my account which I can't do, and every time I try to play it says I need to verify account, but the system won't do that because of this error.
