Character creation and selection is not working

For some reason whenever i open the game up when it comes onto the character selection bit, about a quarter of the screen is still on the loading screen bit and whenever i open the character creation screen it's fine until the details bit when one bit is on the gender bit and the other is on the details bit, any idea how i can fix this?
