Support have refunded those purchases , so they will process back during the week, your account is now ok to purchase the sub
I still don't have a receipt or subscription but I have managed to find the invoice numbers by going into my swtor account payment history.

It says that the status of both subscriptions is open but I'm still on preferred status.

Hello I seem to have just experienced the same problem, trying to subscribe for the 60 day subscription then getting charged twice. Please help 🙂

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that uses the same email address as on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
Support have refunded the previous purchases, they will process back accordingly, so once the password is reset then purchasing a subscription will now work for your account
