One week is nothing, I have a ticket open for three weeks where I'm still waiting for a response. Just continue being patient, they have a large amount of tickets to work through and will get to your ticket eventually; you cannot speed up the process.
But if you are very impatient, you can also just create a new character. Leveling goes so fast now that you'll be done quicker by leveling a new character than by waiting for your ticket to be fixed.
I'd hardly say that one week is nothing. And three weeks is simply unacceptable. When you're a subscriber you're a paying customer with certain benefits that follows. This includes the guarantee of customer support - it's stated on their own website. Not to mention this isn't a minor issue that revolves around a side-quest. This is the main storyline, of a character that I have invested considerable time and money into.
I could create a new character, that much is true. But I just recently bough several character changes which include a change of name and appearance. If I simply create a new character, then these investments will have been for naught. I'm sorry but implying that waiting a week, and in your case three weeks, for customer service is being impatience, is just pure denail about the issue at hand. I've never experience a three week queue for customer support from any other game.
I'll acknowledge that it is very possible, that they're busy with other tickets. But the whole idea of switching to the EA Support from the localized BioWare Austin support was improved response time. At least, that's what they stated. Budget being the much more likely cause of the change.
I'm hardly the only one either. Looking through these forums a lot of people have unanswered questions, some more severe than others. Some dating several months back.
So no, I won't be patient and wait around for something that might not happen before three or four weeks.

Of course, it is totally your decision whether you want to wait that long but that's how it is. If you continue paying for and playing this game, you have to accept that this is the type of Customer Service we receive.
They are saying that this is only a temporary situation because of the KotFE expansion so we will see if ticket response times go down again.
By the way, since you mention that this is just a side quest, keep in mind that Customer Service only helps with class quests, i.e. quests that are listed under the Class category. For any other quest, like Alderaan planetary quests, even when they are part of the planetary quest chain, you will not receive help because they are not critical to the class. So if you are having a problem with a planetary quest, there's no point even writing a ticket because they won't fix it for you. 🤐

You must have misread my previous message. It is about my class mission, which prevents progression.
