Reset my PC as a last resort, SWTOR now functions normally. Shame I couldn't find the solution properly.

@proxos666
The error returned. The game was still running yesterday, and I haven't downloaded anything after playing.
I looked at Windows Update History and there have been updates that I can't roll back, I'm guessing those are the culprits.
In any case, I've revoked resetting my PC as a solution - there seems to be a conflict between SWTOR and recent Windows Updates rollout.
Til then, I don't think I will be able to play the game.
Was wondering where I could reach out to inform devs about this issue

I have exactly the same issue. I bought a new NEO Predator laptop, downloaded the game, I click on PLAY and it goes nowhere.
