Color Crystals Now Require Artifact Equipment Authorization

Since EA wants us to report other finds that require Authorization since the update, The Blue (Now Purple)  "Advanced Black-orange Striated War Hero's Crystal" that I bought from the Galactic Market is also requiring authorization now.

Any chance this will be fixed? Not happy ☹️

I have noticed artifact equipment authorization requirements on the following items:

Several purple quality CM crystals bought from GTN, across several of my characters (for example Advanced White-Blue-Purple Hawkeye Crystal);

Fleet Modification Vendors: green quality hilts and barrels on all levels;

Fleet Equipment Vendor lvl 8: Trooper/Bounty Hunter Trainee orange set, all pieces, for both republic and imperial side.

I am preferred status as well and all of my cartel pack color crystals now require artifact authorization. My companion weapons that were returned back to me can't be equipped because I don't have authorization for the crystals in them. However, the weapons I use for my character specifically have "authorized by a previous subscription" on them. This is was shocking to log into to say the least.

I receive the attached message in general chat when I first log in. upon checking most of my gear, im seeing the same issue everyone else is reporting. I did receive in game mail notifying me that someone is aware of the issue, and here's all your gear back - corrected. But when i detach ti from the mail, it all requires authorization still LOL wtf?

I got the same issue with the "Advanced Black-Yellow Fortitude Crystal" witch I got from pre-ordering SWTOR way back then 🙂

I'm having the same issue, and expect anyone who isn't a sub and doesn't have artifact auth has it too. These crystals were never artifact equipment before, even if they did have a purple border. If they were, I wouldn't have spent my cc to unlock them in collections and wouldn't feel like I'd been cheated now. Now, the only toons I have that can use them are the ones with artifact auth. Since I unlocked these a *long* time ago, every single one of my toons (at least 8 per server) with the exception of the 3 (total) that have artifact auth are pretty much borked.

I'm not sure what "investigating" needs to be done. These crystals did not require artifact auth before the patch and now they do. That goes for all of the +41 stat level 10 crystals.

I see that it is being investigated, but this has severely hindered my ability to play on quite a few toons and I'm sure that I'm not the only one. Some info on the progress of the investigation would be nice. As it stands now, there hasn't even been a post by the devs in the official forums which is the place most players would go to for information on this. Just a reply to a Reddit post and the reply here that it is being investigated.
