HelloI have an issue only on some of my chars and experimenting with SWTOR folder (at AppData) doesnt made anything. Switch to fullscreen doesnt help. It's fine if I'm disabling comparative tooltips but I need them obviously. Moving mouse cursor on it and off doesnt help either.Please help.

unfortunately nothing can be done via this forum to resolve this issue. This is a bug that generally happens when logging in and the first time you use the tool tip causes it to not display correctly. You can run some basic repairs as outlined below however you linked already there is a bug report about it and would need to be fixed by the dev team. Repairs: 1. Delete DiskCacheArena file from swtor directory. Running a repair: Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. If this is NOT present, click the cog icon and then run the repair option. Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher. Worse case scenario if the bug happens continuously is to switch to the non streaming launcher: NOTE this is a complete download of the game again right mouse click on game shortcut and select open file location open the launcher.settings file in notepad and locate the below line and edit to the below , "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\" }", "bitraider_disable": true SAVE the changes. Delete the BitRaider, Movie and Asset folders then start the launcher. Even if you do this, I am also on the non-streaming launcher and this bug does happen once and then the next time I use the tool tip it doesn't anymore so if it's happening still every so often again a bug that the devs would need to resolve

My client doesnt use bitraider for a long time. Launched repair utility - nothing. Tnx 4 the try though

Sorry I didn't see this, (In the future if your looking for a specific answer from a specific person you can type @ and you will get a list of names of folks that have participated in the chat, or you can do the @ and manually type out the persons name and EA (behind the scenes) will email that person directing them to your post.

Umm I wasn't suggesting that you change the X/Y anchors, but more so add a 4th line ie: something like I suggested would then scale down that particular window making it smaller, as it appears you do not have exactly a Large screen so 'Screen Real Estate' is at an all time high High Commodity price.

Tbh I'm not very strong in scripting or editing files of such type. Plus I'm not native English. If you could give me a hand with edit of that file I would really appreciate.
But still, are u sure that problem in GUI file ? As I said before I'm using 1 GUI for all characters and some of them have this bug and most of them - not.

OK here it is .. I worked on it .. and I have clearly missed something due to my lack of coffee, as at present the scale isn't working as intended.

I will keep working on it shortly once I clear my head of the distractions going on today..

*Super fast 'Short Term' fix would be to make your Profile Read Only as it works for the first one you said.

Your Game UI information is in your

%appdata/local/swtor/swtor/settings/GUIProfiles...

Right Click your profile file and select properties and change to Read Only.

So I didnt change anything in this file except marked as Read Only. No luck.
