Connection error to Darth Malgus server (SWTOR)

First things first, I cannot access the Darth Malgus server where I have all of my characters.
I can access all other servers and I can access the Darth Malgus server with other SWOTR accounts, and when I try and boot up the Darth Malgus it goes through the normal process and then gives me the error shown in the image. I have seven accounts on the server and the break occurred immediately after my Togruta ran into a strange occurrence inside a Sentinel campaign area on Tython near the first ruin.

For extra detail, I was walking along with a friend of mine in my area until I ran into an invisible wall which I'm certain shouldn't have been there. Being myself I thought "Hey I'll try and force my way through here." and I used the leap ability on an enemy on the other side of the invisible wall, instantly after which my game closed itself as if I had pressed Alt + F4.Image of connection error.

Additional note, the game takes an incredibly long time to load.

  • The problem appears to have resolved itself after a day, I apologize for wasting your time.
  • Well, I left the quest area after managing to get back in and then tabbed out and in again, and now I'm having exactly the same problem as before.
As you've asked, none of the European servers are working.

Can you confirm this is occurring on just one character on that account and other characters on that account access darth malgus ok when this occurs ?

  • Yes. I logged onto SWTOR during the first time it glitched on another account and it could access all of the other servers. It's possible that I got lucky with the other account and started it up in a fixed state, however I find that unlikely.

@148681983757962 When you next get the connection error and can't connect, can you please use PingPlotter to test your connection from your PC to these two IP addresses:

    159.153.92.28

    159.153.72.252

The first one is the US where you seem to be able to connect fine, and the second one is EU where you're experiencing the issues. If you do the test after you get the error, it should give us a good picture of what's happening.

  • how did this get resolved I am having the issue where i cant get on star forge server but im free-to-play so i cant go on and talk to support?
