I had to close out my game because of a sound issue and now whenever I try to start the game from the launcher it crashes immediately. I've tried fiddling with the client settings file but it's not changing anything. Please help I just want to play the game.
So uhhh the problem fixed itself. I'm not complaining but thanks for the help nonetheless.
HOLY COW THANK YOU! Ive been working on this for hours, the client would start, go to splash screen and then immediately crash. I have my speakers hooked up through a DJ Controller and then through my PC. However when I set my audio output to my monitor or headphones the game works fine and doesn't crash.
The same issue happens for me with borderlands2

i cant see anything there that would cause a game crash, have you tried to see if a repair will activate after login and when the play button is lit up to press (need to login on the launcher before trying)
