First, thanks for trying to help @aT1C. I have spoken with EA phone support. In addition to the half-hour wait, the CSR was remarkably disinterested and unhelpful. His answer was that he could not help and to keep filing tickets. As you can see, in the attachment, the tickets have been closed, and I've refiled them. Again, no response to the tickets.
For the record, I have now reached out to EA in-game, over the phone, and now on this website, only to receive no official response or resolution for the error/bug caused in the transfer process. As someone who has subscribed to this game at launch, and through the hard times, I'm very disappointed :-(.

Sorry to hear that they could not help you with issue over the phone. I hope the responds soon on the in game ticket now.
For contacting EA support, they cant help you as far as I'm aware, if they did they would not need a swtor support i suppose.
I suggest writing back here if they close all of the tickets again.

Update: Just got a call from BW to fix the issue. Not sure if posting here had anything to do with it *cough* @EA_David *cough* but I'm certainly happy with the result!

I got a similar deal. I want to name my transferred character and it says the name's invalid but I can create a new character with the same exact name so it's not taken or anything.
