Free extra 500 cartel coins

Hello,

Yesterday i reinstalled SWTOR and was considering trying it again after some of the performance changes i heard about. After the game finished installing i saw an advert in the launcher for "re-subscribe before the 3rd Jan to receive an extra 500 cartel coins". I decided take this offer and had to go to the website to reset my password. After i logged in i re-subscribed and only received the standard 500 you receive for being a subscriber and NOT the extra 500 for re-subscribing to the game by the 3rd of Jan (as per the offer).

I would like those extra 500 coins as i did what was required, does anyone know if EA are likely to help honour this? Hopefully someone could let me know as i don't want to go home tonight and start leveling a toon only to have to uninstall again after a potential "there's nothing we can do" response.

    Without knowing the exact wording of the offer, I would guess that the Coins are sheuedeld for somewhere after the 3rd of January.

    When i went back to the page that the advert was on it said "you are not eligible because you have subscription time remaining"...it meant the 29 days i know have left.

    Any time they do a promotion requiring you to do a certain thing by a certain date, you don't get the reward until that date, or sometimes the day after that day. It may say you are not eligible because you are already on the list to receive the coins, and therefore can't sign up again for it.

    I would recommend sitting tight until the 3rd, and see if you get another grant of 500 coins on that date. I've never seen them give out the reward for a promotion before the date the promotion ends, even if it is bonus coins. At that point, if you don't get the coins, I would recommend giving them a call.
