Help: Unable to Retrieve Patch Data. Please Check Network Connection. (208)
Hi.
I'm a returning player. I log in and everything seems fine. However, as the the subject suggests, I get a notification on the launcher screen saying: "Unable to Retrieve Patch Data. Please Check Network Connection. (208)." My internet connection is strong. I used microsoft edge to download the files that allows me to access the launcher. Before asking the question myself, I did some research to see if others had a similar problem, and they did. However, the solutions that were given did not help me. I want to not only continue where I left of several sum years ago but to relieve some childhood memories from the game. I need help resolving the issue.
208 is a communication issue , the launcher logs will show where it is failing to communicate
reboot the router/modem and remove and re-add exceptions for launcher.exe to your antivirus and firewall
