HIDE HEAD SLOT

Hello. I am writing because I've encountered a similar bug at all of my human characters (On my Togruta characters I haven't encountered that glitch) - At the Outfit Designer the "Hide Head" option just turned on, I don't know when. The thing is, my account has a preferred status (I was a Subscriber before and I was using the Hide Head option at the time) and I haven't bought THAT option to actually hide a head slot. Is there any solution? 

@MosusWildbeardus Not sure I understand...... Can you not un-check the "Hide Head Slot" box to make your headgear visible again?

only quick solution i can think of is buy the unlock and toggle it off 

I mean that option is checked in but greyscaled with the "Buy at  Cartel Market" option at the right. I can't actually click it. I'd want another way to make it disappear without buying it :/

I would make the assumption it was enabled at the time of going from sub to preferred hence it is locked into that setting now.

as a non subscriber the only thing I can think of to change it again is the unlock 

Title. It so far has happened to just my Bounty Hunter, and I was trying to use armor to override but now I can't see my helmet. Since I'm not a sub and that means I can't submit a ticket (and since there's no email to use to solve my problem) I'm here. Does anyone know of a solution that doesn't involve buying Cartel Coins to get the permission? Thanks.

Since you are both experiencing the same issue I merged your topics together to make it easier.   First you can try to email support@swtor.com and explain the issue, provide the character name and server in your email to see if they can fix the issue.

Currently there is no other work around so if the above option doesn't resolve the issue then the only work around to fix this would be the following:

1. Get a subscription for 1 month to get access to the setting and then make the change and cancel your subscription
2. Purchase the unlock for it on the GTN if it's available to purchase for your character or the whole account.
3. Purchase the unlock on the Cartel Market which is currently 280cc for a character or 775cc for your whole account.

I'm having an issue with the outfit designer. It has the hide head slot automatically turned on. As I am a free-to-play player, I can't turn it off. I cannot put helmets in outfits. How is this caused?
