You can email the code into support@swtor.com and also email in the purchase email showing what was purchased

It is possible your swtor account is presently disabled for purchasing, in these cases you cannot buy a subscription on swtor.com, steam purchases will not add any gametime and codes will fail 

Checking your account for issues, response will be in about 9 hrs when support are online for the day

As to the displayname it cant be changed at present

You are very lucky the steam purchase went through as the linked ea account was banned over a decade ago

This means that codes will never apply to your swtor account and steam should not of either but you got lucky, you also cannot buy on swtor.com

The banned ea account has the persona: b95e491483f233af  and uses a hotmail.com email address

You need to get that linked ea account unbanned to resolve the account issue, if you cant unban that account it maybe best to create a new swtor account longterm

whait what ? what ban ?? I just link my ea acc to steam so I can play swtor without downloading another launcher and are you sure ? last time I stop playing I didnt remember any ban or anythink. also I play other battlefield and star wars games to I never ever remember any ban I get to steam or anythink. Edit: I send ticked like you said sorry for writing here. I hope I solve this ban issue because I never ever remember any ban or somethink and also thanks for telling me this problem if you didnt tell me I didnt know what happen.
