Invalid character name

Question

Hi to all.It is the second time that I try to create a character that includes a quotation mark in its name and the game does not accept it. (e.g.: xxxx'yyyyyyy where xxxx equals to&nbsp;my preferred character prefix)I already have 4 characters named in the same way.The name I have chosen does not exist, both in Rep and Imp side,&nbsp;so I do not understand the reason why the game does not accept it.I didn't find any post where character names rules are published.Am I blind or there's a sort of bug I can't pass through ?Thanks in advance for any response.

I just tested this and was able to create a character name with ' in the name. &nbsp;The only thing I can think of is the way your keyboard is entering that character. &nbsp;Like if it's entering something different then ' or a non ascii character version of '

I would try again if the issue persists or if the issue is resolved please let us know. &nbsp;You can also try some of the steps below:

Delete the DiskCacheArena file from your swtor directory

Run a repair:

Non-Streaming launcher - Log into the launcher but don't click Play. Check for small letters "ST" in the bottom left corner. If this is NOT present, With the new launcher after login , select the username pull down on the top right and select settings, then press repair.
Streaming launcher - If the letters "ST" is present, close the launcher, right mouse click on the game shortcut, select open file location and delete the BitRaider folder. Then start the launcher.
