I have problem with inventory on one of my characters Nebdus on Red Eclipse. Whenever i move one item the rest disappears 'graphically' they are invisible and untouchable but they are still there. W...
Nope deleting the file didn't helped.........
both files one in the settings folder and the other in the GUIProfiles folder ?
Back in the main folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor
delete the file called diskcachearena and see
so for future information the he6122_charname means that this character is from ToFN server and he6124 from Red Eclipse server in the settings folder
at the first time i have deleted wrong file
now i have deleted the right one and the DiskCache... att the same time
still no improvement
it looks more and more that the problem is on their side
Sorry
i haven't mentioned it because there was no Nebdus xml file GUIProfiles folder
Should i delete or check the character whos GUI profile is my Nebdus character currently using?
yes tried changing the GUI tempalate
still bug remains
I just realised you haven't actually run a repair .... oops sorry didn't catch that earlier
try this
the problem with repair button is that is grayed out, nor click able at the moment
*If your Launcher is Broken here is the link to the "NEW" tool to fix your Launcher
http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/LauncherRepairUtilityP1.8.1.exe. (*Updated)
Thanks for the launcher fix but...
"the repair option is activated after patching is completed or when errors are detected while patching" so still not activated
On the non streaming launcher , you should always have the ability to conduct a repair , repair however is only activated after login, then when the play lights up and before you press play , repair should be able to be activated.
If this is not the case then it isn't normal.
ok i managed to make the repair button to work
tried two times
once when DiskCache and GUI file deleted
still no results
I wonder when they will respond to my ticket
I've read through your whole interaction, and as a player with the exact same problem myself, I've gone through and tried every single suggestion, and still nothing has worked. It's only on one single character. Over the course of having this issue myself, I've submitted two different in-game tickets, the second referring back to the first and how the problem remains unfixed. Have you heard anything back yet?
I had comeback in June after 6 months of not playing...
Didn't do anything 'special' with the game....( i had copied whole game once to ssd and then go back to regular hard drive, note that i was reinstalling system and moving the files through different disk in January and till March the problem still presisstet )
It seems the problem was solved.... on their end some how
