Launcher Problems

I have attempted to post a few times now for assistance, but it keeps flagging my posts as spam and the reply I tried to make on the launcher thread is not showing up, I don't know what else to do?

I have previously played the game on this computer, but it is no longer working. I attempted to uninstall and reinstall the direct download and that did not work. I also have downloaded the game through Steam, but that is not working either.

I am able to get the launcher up and sign in, but after clicking play, the title screen comes up and then freezes. The loading emblem is not moving either. I had no issues a few days ago when I was playing the game. I checked the file integrity through Steam and it said that all of the files were verified. I uninstalled both the steam and direct download, restarted the computer, and then installed just the Steam version to see if having both some how was causing issues, but still no luck. I also tried temporarily disabling the firewall to see if that would allow it to work since I saw that was an issue for some people, but it didn't work for me.

I ran the launcher diagnostic/dxdiag to try to see if that could give me some more information, but it is in far more detail than I am familiar with.

full dxdiag may be handy , but anyways initially try playing under a clean boot https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd#ID0EBBD=Windows_11 see if it persists

and also launch under window mode by doing the below

Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time

Copy the following in to the text box and press ok

%localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings

Open the client_settings.ini file in notepad and ensure the following are displayed within

Fullscreen = false D3DFullScreen = false RefreshRate = 60

Check NativeHeight, NativeWidth, Height and Width ( all 4 ) match your monitor resolution.

Save and close the file.
Start the game as normal.

I ended up uninstalling, again, and deleted anything I could find with SWTOR from the computer. I'm not sure how I missed some before, but after a reinstall, it's working fine now.
