Launcher reorganizing files with every launch

I downloaded patch 5.9.1 and started playing no problem.  However, with every launch of the game (since patch 5.9.1) the game takes ages to 'reorganize' the data.  This was not a problem before this patch.  To start the game now easily takes two hours.

I ran chkdsk and Memtest and neither reported any problems.  Can anyone help, pls?

    If you have run a game repair per this link

    If it was me and this is persisting I would switch patch methods per this link, non streaming does not do re-organizing files so that issue will be gone.

    Just be aware switching patch methods does mean a new game install as a once off.

    Are you starting the launcher as administrator?

    No, I did not try that.  A bit late now as I am following the steps above (which is almost a reinstall).

     @EA_Kipling I am happy to say that I can finally play SWTOR again.  I decided to change the installer as suggested by @proxos666.  So far it's working like a charm.  I first tried the game repair he suggested, but that did not work.  Then I switched to the non-streaming launcher. 

    Just a word of caution to anyone with a slow internet connection like me.  It took more than a day to download the new files.  However, I now log in to the game in seconds.  Even faster than before I started getting the issues.
