Launcher Stuck at "The launcher is looking for available updates..."

Thanks guys, it resolved on its own.

If this is still an issue, as there has been a number of reports of similar behavior see this Post  made 10hours ago by swtor regarding the issues

if its still occurring would suggest following these directions  deleting the 2 metafile.json files should resolve this issue

Hey there aabcdow25​  have you tried repairing the game installation through the launcher to see if that resolves the issue?

Give the repair a try and let us know if you are still unable to launch the game.
