Legacy item unable to place in legacy storage

went to Oricon to buy the rep armour set for an alt but when i try to put it in the legacy storage it says item is bound and i can only place it in personal storage any thoughts as to how to fix this tried logging out and did not work then tried reairp still no luck.

I had this issue with a Gree offhand - bought it on one character and was unable to put it in the Legacy storage.
I mailed it to a character in my legacy, took it out of the mail and put in the legacy bank with the other character. Hopefully that works for you.

Does the item say bind on pick up or bind on equip?

no it is the rep legacy armour you can buy on Oricon that says bound to legacy.

yes that got it it's a shame to have to do it that way says a-lot about EAs quality control.

It seems you must make it actually bound to your legacy first. Wear it, equip it wit the cheapest mod, then discard the mod.... It makes no sense, but it works for me 🙂

On some Items there is an bind Timer that has to run out before you can put it in Legacy Storage.

the Bind Timer is there so that you can refund the item,

so it might get a little annoying but in the end it is there to reduce problems with wrong bought items.
