Legacy item unable to place in legacy storage

went to Oricon to buy the rep armour set for an alt but when i try to put it in the legacy storage it says item is bound and i can only place it in personal storage any thoughts as to how to fix this...

    I had this issue with a Gree offhand - bought it on one character and was unable to put it in the Legacy storage.

    I mailed it to a character in my legacy, took it out of the mail and put in the legacy bank with the other character.  Hopefully that works for you.

yes that got it it's a shame to have to do it that way says a-lot about EAs quality control.
