Lightsabers not rendering after updating AMD Radeon Crimson Edition Driver

I updated my video driver software today (below)

  • AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition Display Driver version 15.30.1025
  • Video card is an R7 370

Now my lightsabers do not render. I see the color glow from the hilt but it is like the lightsaber is invisible. This occurs across the board on all characters and companions. I tried to revert back but they took down the old driver and only see this new one that came out 2 days ago.

Any help is appreciated.

This is something that will need to be fixed by AMD. As per this thread:

    http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=856556

Someone installed the beta version 15.11.1 and it fixed the problem and another person tried it and confirmed.

So you could always install beta 15.11.1 however you may have to uninstall your existing driver for it to install. Also of course since it is in beta, install at your own risk or wait for official release.

I found the problem could be temporarily solved by turning AntiAliasing to either Medium or Off in the Graphics settings.

  • Beta drivers DO NOT fix it.

    15.12 DOES NOT fix it.

Furthermore, 15.12 has now completely * up sound in the game. I TOLD it not to install AMD HDMI audio drivers, as I use a separate dedicated sound card.

Wouldn't you know it, the installer COMPLETELY ignored me and installed the * anyways, totally * up my game audio.
