Linking and Unlinking Steam Account

I'm a returning player who recently remade their account and forgot the email and password to my old one. Unfortunately, whenever I try to link it to steam, it says I can't and that I haven't linked my SWTOR account to steam, I logged in through steam on my old account and I'm not sure how to unlink that old dead account especially when I don't remember any details of it. Can anyone help?
