Low FPS during group content SWTOR
Hello, everyone. I am going to just jump right into my issue first, then list off my PC specs.
So, my issue is quite simple. The game runs smoothly while I am sitting around doing basically nothing, doing random quests, etc. Whenever I go into a warzone, op, or something that takes more than a few players, I am dropping to 20-30 FPS. This is confusing to me because I can play other games at full settings with literally no issue, and I regularly record/ stream Anthem, Diablo 3, WOW, and several other games with more or less stress on the hardware; but without any frames dropping.
Now, I have been researching this issue for some time, and I have tried all of the usual fixes. Here is a list of all the things I've tried:
-Changed settings. This is the first one that occurs to everyone, but I have done it all. With and without V-sync on. Graphics on ultra, high, medium, low, very low; seemingly no difference(maybe an extra frame or two here and there). I've enabled triple buffering on radeon settings, turned it off, and toggled just about every other setting on the list. No effect.
-Tried reinstalling the game on several different hard drives. No change.
-Tried running the game in and out of admin.
-Updated, rolled back, then updated all my drivers again.
-Upgraded pieces of hardware within the computer.
Computer specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (6 core)
GPU: MSI Vega 64 (Core clock at 1663 MHz, 8 GB of GDDR 5)
RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance (DDR 4 2400 MHz)
Windows 10 64x
HDD 1 TB WD 7200 RPM
Any help would be greatly appreciated and I will gladly give anymore information that is needed. I seem to be the only one having this issue, and I have been for what seems like forever, but only in SWTOR. Playing this game at such crappy FPS is unbearable some of the time when I need to quickly respond to an issue.
