Mac launcher not working after 7.8.1b update.

Times out checking for server updates.  Launcher error code 987 - WebGet_Error_JSON.

Have cleared and reinstalled launcher and still getting same error.   Looks like it can't connect to a server or some JSON update file its looking for isn't there, etc.

Other Mac clients reporting same under SWTOR forums.   Posting this here.
