No access to old email, phone help says they can't change, advice?

I've been out of this game for quite a while now, but would like to return to check it out. While going through a move I sold my old laptop which had my original email tagged in it, so unfortunately I lost access to it. I called yahoo, and wrote them countless times and they say there is nothing they can do (even after offering to send my ID).

Now I'm trying to log in to SWTOR with my new PC and it's trying to send me the one time verification code to the email I no longer have access to. I called support and they said there is nothing I can do other than to contact yahoo again, or to start a new account.

Is there absolutely nothing I can do? I can even send my ID into SWTOR to verify I'm the owner of the account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If your not able to log into swtor.com account to change it one thing you can try to do is verify what your email is on your EA account.  If your EA account is also set to your old email, change it there to your new email.  If your EA account is linked to your swtor account, it will update the email address on both.

I changed my email on the EA page and it went through etc, but then when I went to log in it's asking for another verification code, and I assume it's still sending it to my old email. Any advice?

If your just trying to log into the game, you can try to log into swtor.com to see if you can change the email directly there.  If not then the only other options would be to either try to get Yahoo! to give you access to your old email by resetting the password for it or by calling swtor customer service to see if they can change it.  You can try seeing if someone else or higher can change it but can't guarantee that it will get changed via that method.
