One time login bull *!!

I am trying to log in to SWTOR, and despite not trying to login in any differently, I am being asked for a 1 time password again (why, I am not perm logged in anyway is an annoyance). It has now been an hour since I first tried logging in, and no temp password has been sent to me, but luckily I do have a noob badge from the Answers HQ.

I am in Australia, so calling you is not an option, neither is sending a letter - who doesnt have email??

FYI, I am a subscriber, but because I cant get in, I cannot log a ticket to get this fixed.

Please advise asap how this can be rectified.

I agree, the one time password thing is a royal pain in the rear.  And the message that goes along with asking for it is saying that it doesn't recognize the computer.  I get this every single time I want/need to log in on the web site even though I use the same computer all the time.  As to that suggestion given about the key thing...not everyone can do that as it requires  hundreds of dollars worth of technology that not everyone has or can afford to get just to be able to log in.  It's rediculous.  I can understand it if we were logging in on a new computer as a security thing, but it is BS.  I've had to wait up to 3 days before for the code to arrive and by then it wasn't valid anymore.  It's like they don't want us to use the web site at all.

  • For the swtor sec app you could use an Android symulater like blue stacks, but winauth should work fine and that only needs windows.

The one time password is required when your IP address changes; so your neighbor, sister, brother... little Timmy in the Chinese sweatshop doesn't flog your game.

Just one more thing you have to do to log in as you don't want to use the Cellphone App, or the Keychain Security Key.

Living in Australia isn't an excuse to not contact customer support either, hand holding is for children, use Skype to call the US Customer Support team for FREE!

Australia is an excuse, when it was 1am in the us when I had my issue. Unless they have 24hr support (not mentioned anywhere I could find), they were closed shop for the day...

I get the idea of the 1 time login, but if my location and computer don't change, ever, surely my ip would be the same too, yeah? Shouldn't I be able to turn it off as a result?

The US number will transfer the call to the UK/Ireland for you automatically, so someone will always answer your call if you use the Skype contact/number I suggested; Their accents aren't to bad at all, but as a first generation Kiwi I could just be accustomed to them anyway.

    http://www.swtor.com/support/helpcenter/5200#contact-form

This Link Contains all the numbers and options open to you for calling  one of the many Swtor call centers.

Or you can add +18553452186 to your contacts on Skype as this is how I do it from NZ.

*The team that handle the phones are really quick and helpful in these areas, whole thing should take you less then 5 minutes if you use Skype.

*(more likely ~20 minutes on hold due to increased use).
