Patching and Torrent

So, here's a question, that hopefully someone at EA / Bioware will pay attention to.

Why on earth do you use hands down the most appalling, sucky patching system I have come across in decades of playing games?

It takes stupendous amounts of time to install every patch even if they are trivial in size and the reason is because you decided to use and then stick with this daft idea.  I'm a subscriber and it is so bad it puts me off actually playing, once I actually I can

I'm going to bite the bullet and uninstall and force the non torrent version, but why oh why should I have to do that?  Its bad enough that you take the game off line for so long during the day in Europe, but then I have hours of the 'installing' red bar creeping across the bottom of the loader at a speed a nonagenarian tortoise could beat - and no my connection is fine, by UK standards, and I don't have this issue with the other online games / patchers, steam etc.

For pete's sake get rid of the damn thing, give us something that is actually ft for purpose - you might actually keep more of us playing

You may be disappointed that the Bioware Devs and EA customer support do not monitor this forum. This is a community driven (ie gamers helping gamers) technical self help site do we are unable to provide an official answer from the devs to your question on the launcher\patching system.
