The expansions for this game have always been digital only (the base game did come as a physical disc, but the expansions did not). Yes, subscribing for one month will give you access to all expansions, and they seem to have gone to a "expansions are free for subscribers" model (which is better, as a one time $15, at the right time gives you access to a lot of content). You just have to be subscribed at the time to get new content as it launches, but any time you subscribe, you get everything up to and during that time, and maintain access to content and levels and stuff even if you unsubscribe (you'd still have preferred restrictions on money and exp and quickbars and numbers of active characters and the like, but you'd be able to level them to level cap (65 atm), and access the planets from the expansion content). And you'd be able to catch up again later by resubbing to get the new content.
