Re: Black Screen Problem

@Bos14

There is no easy way to say this , but I doubt it will work, I am surprised it didnt give a C7 error as the cpu is below minimum requirements

now so saying that , the black screen issue will likely be with the video driver , I do not know if vmware have any different driver versions for you to test with.

I do know that bootcamp seems to work ok on macs with swtor for most people but your cpu concerns me

I am not sure how much more help i can provide unfortunately

Maybe can ask vmware (link) if there is any newer video drivers ?

    Yeah I think I understand the point about cpu, since the minimum system requirements call for at least 2 ghz if i remember correctly, and my macbook specs say 1.1 ghz. I was thinking that it might be able to work since there is a "Turbo Boost" mode that increases that to 2.2 ghz. Thanks for your input, I'll try running it on bootcamp and see if that works. 🙂

    A C7 error would normally occur if it flat out wasnt going to work with that CPU

    If you do try bootcamp let me know how it goes, I have seen a number of players using bootcamp successfully so likely your best chance to get working.
