i go to the link you gave. i log into my amazon account. i chose the 5500 cartel coins add to cart i go to pay and it says the item is no longer available.
tried to close the windown and do it from the start it says available at the page and then when i go to pay - not available.
amazon also doesnt seem to work when i try to change language. i give up.
Maybe you can add your amex to paypal , and then pay with a paypal account ?

Paypal has a 4.5% commision for international currency convertions. so im sorry but im not gonna do that.
buying in amazon, or in swtor should work, if it doesnt, it sucks but im not gonna pay 4.5% more for every transaction i want to make.
no offense meant but i feel it should be the companys goal to make purchases as easy as possible and not the nightmare im experiencing.

I live in Australia and have a https://www.shipito.com/en/ and have that address in amazon as a US address for delivery
purchasing digital items like the subscription etc , nothing is physically shipped as the code to redeem is delivered online
i just found something similar for me but the website itself is asking for a monthly pay, seems weird.
so im guessing support cant help me with checking why my credit card is not being accepted by swtor.com or ea.com ?
I do not know if they can help calling or not , there is only so much that can be done on a open forum , with privacy laws etc they will want to verify you as the account holder before they can discuss further
Hi, I just started having a similar problem where I get a General Error every time I try to purchase Cartel Coins from the swtor website. It started happening for a couple days now. I bought Cartel Coins just last month with no issues.
I've already changed the password to my EA account, tried making the purchase on a private tab and deleted and added my card information again. None of which made a difference.
My swtor display name is: L-Yule
Support see no issue with the account
They can see a lot of bank declines on their end , and it may have tripped the fraud bot , if that is the case it is best not to try and purchase for 24 hrs initially before trying again
apart from trying a different payment method , support suggested if you have steam connected you could try and purchase that way
and if it persists give them a call so they can try help further
That is strange, I did not receive any messages from the bank about them declining the payments. I'll check up on my end to see if there was any issues then and wait a couple days before trying to make a purchase again.
