Re: Can't subscribe because of extremely high traffic

@proxos666 changed because I tried all the options. I haven't logged into the game for 5 years and playermtvej3hi has an automatically assigned random name

    @GrengGuar

    You need to open a ticket with help.ea.com , EA account  playermtvej3hi is the one you need to access, swtor support said the last purchase on that account was made back in 2014.

    GrengGuar and playermtvej3hi are different EA accounts just to be clear, and your swtor account cannot make purchases until that EA account playermtvej3hi has had a password reset

    if you have reset the password , be sure you are using incognito mode on chrome at swtor.com  otherwise delete the browser cache and cookies

    Lets see if I can get some help to. I am also a returning player swtor fitznl. Used steam, account linked to steam. Bought on steam gametime for 30 days and it worked. After 30 days ended the drama started. Back to prefered status swtor. Can log in game. However gametime bought at steam does not get added. Checked origin account and ea account, all have same emailadres as swtor account. Nothing to see on origin and ea account. No message thats something wrong. Updated paymethod on ea account even.

    Since gametime buy on steam did not work, not get added, I tried to buy a sub on swtor site. Getting the famous respond: SWTOR.com is temporarily unavailable as we are experiencing extremely high traffic. Please check back again soon, or visit our Twitter account for details!

    Did use ctrl F5. Did use dif webbrowsers. Even tried to use smartphone. All attempts get to choose sub option and ending with SWTOR.com is temporarily unavailable as we are experiencing extremely high traffic. Please check back again soon, or visit our Twitter account for details!

    Help 🙂

  • @fitz1967 seems incognito mode did the trick, problem solved. The link between my steam account and swtor account still not working again. But could buy gametime on swtor and I am a sub player again.

    Hi there my SWTOR username is Aesgir.
    As of of today I still cant get access to SWTOR subscriptions.

    I tried subscribing tough Steam and got the same issue everyone is getting and when i try to subscribe through the SWTOR page and my account i get the famous respond: SWTOR.com is temporarily unavailable as we are experiencing extremely high traffic. Please check back again soon, or visit our Twitter account for details!

    I did all the recommended actions: reset my EA password, logging in on different browsers, logging in on my cellphone, clearing web browser cache, using incognito mode, so far nothing is working.

    I would love for some solution to this.

    thanks.

    @Potier75

    Your EA account is active so the account is fine, steam can only be resolved via the emails so if you sent those that should be sorted (seems it is sorted great news)

    as to subscribing on swtor.com, using incognito mode on chrome should work given the EA account is ok, otherwise browser cache and cookies need to be deleted.

    My turn?

    Been two days for me, getting the temporarily unavailable or down for maintenance error. SWTOR Account name is **** EA is *****. I tried incognito mode but it didn't help.

    NVM I got it. I logged into my Origin/EA account and deleted/re-added my payment method and it seems to have worked.

  • @proxos666

    Same on me. Returned in swtor 2 or 3 days ago and getting down for maintenance error. Haven linked my swtor and EA accounts at all. And I tried incognito mode already, it isnt working.

    SWTOR accouny name is Nornfrid. Can it solved without calling?

    ED: Solved it, EA created account for me long time ago. Need just to login it and update payment info

    Having the same issue in January 2021. Been days now and get a message the site is down when I try and sub.

    Come on guys, stop giving wrong error messages. If there is a problem, give an error that matches the problem. If the problem is with the account, say so.

    Please fix this.
