    @MatyTheWanderer

    QA are saying this is client side error

    maybe go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor  when the game is not running and delete the file called diskcachearena and then try the repair again

    That file is the games cache file it autocreates on first launch , it is in a separate swtor folder

    right mouse click on the game shortcut and select open file location , from there click into the "swtor" folder there

    you should see

    Short of doing a reinstall not sure what else can cause this , QA are saying it is client side so if repair doesnt work i dont see a lot of options

  • @proxos666

    Yeah I uninstalled and re-installed the game earlier today and that didn't help.

    Thanks for the help though I appreciate it

    Can you provide a dxdiag per this guide link

    Edit - just to check something else , swtor is in all the exception lists for the firewall and antvirus ? , it is working for other players , if you have re-installed wonder if it could be conenction based somehow ?

    tried tethering to say your mobile and see if it work using GSM data as a different connectiong ?

    @MatyTheWanderer

    Cant see anything unusual in the dxdiag , it does show crashing with corsair link , the epicgames launcher and minecraft thats about it.

    different video driver version is about only thing to be sure , otherwise maybe it is a connection based issue ?

    @MatyTheWanderer

    QA havent been able to replicate this issue with the elevator, if reinstall is no change , then it shouldn't be game file related, connection maybe the next thing to look closer at is the thinking

    @MatyTheWanderer

    There is only trial and error , like i mentioned try a different internet connection firstup like tethering to the mobile phone for example and use its internet to test, this eliminates the router/modem /isp for example

    Also the only other thing I can think of would be to lower your graphics settings as well to see if that has an effect.
