I'm also one of these who didn't receive free 30 days.
I bought my first subscription before end of promotion. I read rules "free to play, no preffered blah blah blah", Named Recipient is very wide term. I thought it connects with f2p players, because - as I was thinking - if it's really THAT exclusive I wouldn't have it on my launcher! I learned about e-mail from here. I feel really cheated. I've never bought any subscription to any game before because (in my opinion) it was waste of money. For the first time I decided to try, I really enjoyed it and I'm almost sure that I'll buy next one... but now... now I lost my enthusiasm knowing that creators are not fair with me. I don't really want to play now...
Now - it's really only for those who received email - IT SHOULDN'T BE IN LAUNCHER AT ALL! It's kind of cheating and false adversing. Now everybody (even if they received email) can't get what you promised them.
In addition - customer contact is terrible for someone from outside US. Why only phone support? What's wrong with email nowadays?! AND WHY IN-GAME HELP IS ONLY FOR SUBSCRIBERS?! It's essential for any mmo game!
"Hey, you paid? Okey, let me help you. Oh, you didn't pay? Go away peasant, try calling for equivalent money that you'd pay for subscription or play along WITH OUR BUGS AND MISTAKES".
