I didn't change the email address, and I sent the email from the same mail as in the SWTOR account. I did a password reset. The account is old, since 2013, I have re-sent the email. Thanks for the help, really
checking .... but to be clear it is not the gmail you have on your swtor account , it is a different email address
Perhaps when I tried to figure out the problem myself, I found among the topics a suggestion that would help change the mail in the account, but then I returned it to the old one
The email address on your swtor account is also used on the EA account your posting on now as Jim_Frost_Raynor
The linked EA account The disabled one is Gmail but completely different

no , you need to know this other gmail email address and use it to reset the password on that ea account
There is 2 options if you do not know the email address on that EA account ( although it should be the one used to create the swtor account per https://help.ea.com/en-au/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-account-linked )

2. create a new swtor account and link your steam account to the new account and resubmit steam screenshots for the new swtor account

It turns out to be essentially easier to create a new account, all previous characters remain on the old account, registration in EA and SWTOR was long before 2019. M-yes, it's not so sorry for $ 14, as it's rather a pity to spend so much time almost empty
I am having the same issue i was gifted a 60 day sub through steam and communicating with steam says to contact SWTOR since i was supposed to get an email with some kinda code that i never received. I emailed SWTOR support and am looking to see what kind of turnaround time they have

the linked EA account is disabled with its data wiped and it used the same gmail email address to what is on the swtor account now
insert that gmail email address in this link it should restore the account
If you think you have sorted the linked ea account let me know and i can check
Also when i check support did not see an email from the email address tied to that swtor account
try resending firstup and let me know and i can check if it arrives ok
firstup means first thing is to resend the email
it will be about 10 hrs when support are online for the day , response will be provided when they are online
The linked EA account using the swtor gmail is still disabled , also they still cant see an email from you
it maybe best to call swtor support when the lines are open, so they can assist you further to get his resolved
