Re: Repair after every patch

@proxos666

Thanks for looking through that.

Looks like I'm off to buy more RAM :\

    Thanks for your time. It's all very frustrating. I just want to jump in and have some gaming time.

    I'll probably just go buy some new sticks.

    This would also explain the repair issue you have

    just on a different topic, have you deliberately stayed at 14393.rs1_release_sec.170327-1835 version of windows ? latest is now 15063.rs2_release.170317-1834

    Definitely not. As far as I know, I'm getting Windows updates as per normal...

    May wait till you get new ram if that is what yo uwant without testing the existing sticks, mind everything points to a memory issue so it is very likely the one of the sticks.

    Once you get the new ram let me know and can look at fixing the windows update errors your getting, just dont want to do this if one of the sticks is causing corruption

    also check for a new motherboard bios at this link, but also best with new sticks , wouldnt update whilst existing ram is suspect

    When ready open a command prompt as adminstrator and run the below command initially

    sfc /scannow

    see if that alone fixes things.

    Its after 10pm here , worst case will be back here similar time tomorrow.

    @proxos666

    Looks like I have some serious out-dated and incompatible components issues at the moment.

    I'm going to look at getting that sorted with a new motherboard, processor and memory. Once I sort that and if I'm still having issues, we can talk then.
