My attempts to upgrade to the latest version of windows 10 has met with constant failure. But that's an entirely different thread in a different forum. I tried at least 8 times today alone.
what is it faulting on ?
The Update Log for Windows 10 update 20H2 indicates error 0xc1900101
Note also that I have had error codes:

I was never able to install Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903

@proxos666 I cant say that I know how to identify the errors in the setupact and setuperr logs.

Try the steps in my previous post also have you tried to update with the antivirus uninstalled ? if not i would do that before digging deeper
I have not tried updating with antivirus uninstalled. I will give it a shot before anything else

As long as both are done the order doesnt matter
I did both but failed to install. I am trying again with a new download but going to disconnect the internet this time
Managed to update to 20H2. But after a subsequent reboot I got stuck in a "startup repair Loop". I had a spare SSD and just did a fresh 20H2 install on it.
