Re: Unable to retrieve server list

@Keithson_roland

Have  a ping running to 81.1.112.40 in a command prompt and see if it times out when you get booted back to the server select

ping -t 81.1.112.40

As mentioned before the tracerts does indicate a connection issue of some description, note your hop 2 is 200+ms , mine is 4ms , maximum average even if using say ADSL is about 30ms, anything over 60ms should generally be investigated as to why.

Your second tracert
1 2 ms 4 ms 2 ms 192.168.1.1
2 253 ms 247 ms 212 ms 81.1.112.40

My Tracert timings to my first hop

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1
2 5 ms 4 ms 4 ms 103.85.38.4

    The ping test timed out as soon as the game loaded into the loading screen/server select. Then ping test changed from "request timed out" to "destination host unreachable"

    Ive also noticed through using programs like discord that my internet gets really laggy when i load swtor now (it didn't before i got kicked off the server)

    Is there a reason why the game doesnt ask me to pick a server when i reinstall? And is there a way to make that permanent ie. always load straight into malgus server?

    The issue appears to be network related , need to work out where

    If wireless try a wired ethernet connection first and see if the same issue occurs, swtor is triggering something to fall over hence the time out and destination host unreachable, that occurs when the net connection is severed.
