reduce game folder size

Is there a way to delete large game files, like the Movies folder, to reduce the needed disk space? The installer said, it needed 25 GB of free disk space but the swtor folder is now already 32 GB large and now I have no more space left on my C-drive :-/

No, unfortunately deleting the Movies folder will break the game; you should not delete it. Obviously, the installer was created a few years ago and since then, there have been a few patches that increased the total size. 32GB sounds about right.

You can try deleting some of the logs, they can be found in the "logs" folder, and there are some more logs under "swtor/retailclient/swtor/logs". However, those will only be a few MB in size. If you want to free up your disk space, you need to look for something else to delete.

You can run a Disk Cleanup to see if there is any extra space you can delete.  If you've had your computer for a while there may be redundant files or things that aren't needed.  The steps to run a Disk Cleanup are found here
