Repair after every patch
I dread every patch. Each time a patch is released, it downloads, goes to install, and then I have to repair the installation. Every time!

What is the launcher log showing ? these are in a log folder in the game folder
I have seen a number of causes for this and file system error picked up by chkdsk has been one of them but it isn't a common cause.

@proxos666, attached is the log file. If I read it right, looks like some of the bigger files like the movie files had errors.
The 31 files have been repairs. Update 5.3 downloaded again but another error occurred. Now repairing 26 files.
I do not often say this but you are best switching to streaming launcher , or do you get the same issue with that one as well ?
I have seen this repair loop before with the non streaming launcher although these days it is rare, causes have been varied , some have been a memory corruption issue, some was due to an overclock/memory voltage/timing and some I could not identify a specific cause. for, those that I could not find a specific cause streaming launcher (bitraider) seemed to be the simple solution.
Just to provide some more info for those that get this , once it gets into this repair loop , it is best to start the install again, the only safeguard is once a good patch was done, is to copy the entire game folder as a backup, and when this repair loop occurred , copied the backup across and try the patch again.
It is worthwhile confirming ram and that is ok and remove any overclocks etc
also ensure the system isnt going to sleep in the middle of the patch
but like i mentioned switching to bitraider is likely the less stressfull way in this case.
