returning player - security key blocking log in

Hi, I'm a returning player but I cn't log in in my account since the security key is required (the app though requires a new activation code which i can not acquire whithout loggin in).

I read around the internet to click on lost access key button though it's not there, probably not an available option anymore

Can you help on this?

    In these challenging times, we had to figure out a solution without sending you to phone support, which is now closed until further notice. It's been decided that we might be able to help you out via email.

    What you should do: write to support@swtor.com from the email address that is tied to your SWTOR account, and explain the issue. Support will then identify you via email and assist you.     @nikthetrip 

    It's still there, but not for everyone. It depends on many different factors (if your IP changed, if your computer had a big update, if it's a different computer, how long it's been since you logged in... many different things). When I try to remove mine from my home computer, the option is there, but if I try from my work computer, it isn't.

    I'm having the exact same problem - no option to remove he key is popping up for me. I've emailed customer support so fingers crossed they can help. Good luck!

    @Treaved 

    Make sure your trying to remove it using swtor.com and not the launcher.  The option is not available in the launcher.  On swtor.com, enter your Display Name and Password, click Login and then see if the link is there on the next page.

    Try other browsers as well and see if that makes a difference.  If not you will need to email support@swtor.com for assistance in removing the security key.

    @Belgorad Thanks Bud, Yep already tried all those, Chrome, IOS Safari, Firefox, IE, Edge etc. Have emailed the support team, just waiting on a response now 🙂
  • i got call from the swtor support team and they solved the issue by removing the security key. I suggest you to email them and wait for a call
