The only thing I can recommend would be to email support@swtor.com since you are no longer a subscriber. Not sure if it something that would require a direct fix to that one character or something that requires a patch but I would see if that avenue can resolve the issue for you.

Oh, forgot I posted about it here. They got around to fixing it for me. I honestly think it was a bloody miracle and it took long enough but it's done, so no complaints.
