Okay, first of all I am not intending to diminish your problem, but I don't understand how it can be EA/Bioware's fault when not everyone is having these issues. A lot? Yes. But if it was truly 'server side lag' then everyone would have the issues. Now, it might not be on your end either. It could be your ISP, it could be any number of servers between you and Bioware. For example, back when I used to play WoW on DSL, for like a week I couldn't play because there was a server down in Dallas, Texas that was having issues. I'm in Kansas, so my signal goes down to Texas then across to San Jose, CA (Where WoW's servers are) Thing is, I wasn't making it past Dallas. It didn't affect most web browsing, just WoW. But, through talking with my ISP and giving them the pings and tracerts... they determined that I was tripping up in Dallas.
Oh come on, not again, I'm tired of hearing it!!
If something isn't working it's my fault, it's my computer or my ISP. 😠
This issue started at the beginning of September all over the world (SWTOR)!
It's not just an European, USA or whatever issue.
Also it's not a single ISP issue.
As an example I've been the first one in my guild with that issue, two days later 4 other guild members got that issue too etc.
So what I've figured out is that there is no issue if the population on the sever is at a low level, but in the evening when everyone is playing SWTOR the game is lagging like hell.
I've no problems with playing my other games, there is no lag.
(Sorry if my English is not the best in the moment, but as a native English speaker I'm talking far too much German)
