Stuck in endless update cycle
My launcher is stuck in endless patching cycle. Download 8GB - Found Errors - Repair - Download 8GB - Found Errors - Repair - Download 8GB - ... Please help

DO NOT use the repair option as that will download all over again.
This sounds like a UAC problem to me, try dragging the games folder to the root of whatever hard drive it's installed to.
Failing that, check you don't have a "write-protected" client/folder!

For the record:
My UAC is completely disabled, my game is installed on a separate SSD drive in root (in "swtor" folder) and I checked ready only attributes before too, as I suspected that the reason why it couldn't update, was that the files it was trying to modify were read-only. :D
