Stuck on Updating status
My launcher is stuck in this updating thing at the bottom of the picture I attached. I've tried restarting it, leaving it on all day, and it just won't go away. I'm not able to play because of this. ...

It would fit your screenshot. If the service is stopped in Windows the launcher will never end patching. Optimizer programs like Tune-Up Utilities might have disabled this service.
