The email address that receives the emails for that username is the same as this one

it didn’t recognise my email though so I set up the account again

I have followed the link but it hasn’t sent an email to me

i think ea might have deleted my old account?

Using the same email on the swtor and ea / origin account doesnt make a linkage 

the linked EA account to your swtor account has the name trillion123  so if you can login and post here as trillion123 your on the right account 

If you do not know the email address on that account which has the email domain @Post-Shift then you need to try and recover that ea/origin account

Yes it was suspected the account was compromised see also https://help.ea.com/au/help/account/secure-hacked-ea-account/

you need to create a ticket at help.ea.com to recover that account

i feel as though ea really dont want to recieve emails

try as i might i cant create a ticket for this, am i being daft or is this even possible?

it sends me in circles to reset password but obviously the emails are just going to the russian who hacked my account

login on the top right when you get to help.ea.com , select the game as origin and manage account and say hacked account , provide them the persona and email on the hacked account 

once logged in try https://help.ea.com/au/contact-us/?product=origin&platform=pc&category=manage-my-account&issue=hacked-account
