Subscribtion error for years
Hello,
I have tried multiple times over the years to get back into the game and always end up stuck trying to buy the subscription and this is all it tells me:
"An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later."
Trying later changes nothing, resetting passwords on swtor and ea does nothing. My card is fine, I don't want to set up paypal just to try this and changing to steam doesn't inspire hope according to other comments. I dont understand why this is a thing why can't I pay?
I've been a subscriber multiple times in the past. Please help me
Paypal is only a viable solution if your in a country like Denmark and using 3d secure on the credit card, for them paypal is a valid workaround or steam
However if its due to the swtor account being disabled for subscribing, steam will fail to add gametime as no gametime can be added to the swtor account from any source
if you have tried using password resets on the EA account using the same email used to "create" the swtor account (so not the current email on the swtor account if its been changed)
Then call swtor support when the lines are open, they can help further to get your account sorted if its not the payment method
