Yeah, I redeemed a code but it has not registered. The site and game still consider me as Preferred, when usually I see the 7 days of Subscription appear.

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has a gibberish (not SirGrimmR) that EA account uses a Gmail but it is not the one on your swtor account
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

i have this problem as well, when i try to make a subsription it will show me that the servers are down. i already tried with chrome,edge and my phone to do it. it only shows this (picture).

Support said your account is no longer disabled , they have added the game time so you should be all sorted now
I can't buy subscribtion in swtor. Everytime I try I get a messages that says error.
you mean a referral code ? likely not much can do with that
